This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a remote work environment, excels at aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and is committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.<br><br>The HR Director will report directly to the Chief of Staff.<br><br><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><strong>Strategic HR Leadership<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's strategic roadmap and growth trajectory</li><li>Align workforce planning with business expansion goals</li><li>Directly manage and support an HR manager and a Talent Acquisition Specialist, ensuring alignment with business goals</li><li>Set clear KPIs and performance expectations for the HR team</li><li>Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief of Staff and senior leadership on all HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention<br><br></li></ul><strong>Remote Workforce Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Oversee HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws across multiple states</li><li>Lead HR operations for a 100% remote workforce, ensuring employees across the US are engaged, productive, and supported</li><li>Establish and continuously improve remote work policies, communication strategies, employee engagement programs, and IRL events</li><li>Implement effective performance management and career development frameworks tailored for a distributed team</li><li>Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR software systems (Rippling)</li><li>Develop and nurture a strong company culture that aligns with Stingray Direct's values, mission, and strategic goals. Implement initiatives that enhance employee morale and team cohesion<br><br></li></ul><strong>People Operations & Organizational Development<br><br></strong><ul><li>Design and optimize HR dashboards and analytics to track key HR metrics, workforce trends, and performance indicators</li><li>Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits administration, and employee relations</li><li>Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace policies<br><br></li></ul><strong>Talent Acquisition & Retention<br><br></strong><ul><li>Oversee full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent</li><li>Direct the Talent Acquisition Specialist to create a highly efficient, scalable hiring process</li><li>Develop recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates in departments across the company</li><li>Develop and implement employee engagement, performance management and recognition programs to support a high-performance culture</li><li>Conduct regular engagement surveys and feedback loops to improve retention</li><li>Manage compensation and benefits strategies to ensure competitiveness in the job market</li><li>Develop and manage a data-driven compensation strategy, ensuring internal pay equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with wage laws across multiple states<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compliance & Risk Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensure adherence to HR laws and best practices, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines</li><li>Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to align with current labor laws</li><li>Handle sensitive employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>6+ years of experience leading HR functions in a small to mid-size company (preferably in a remote or eCommerce environment)</li><li>SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required</li><li>Experience managing a fully remote, multi-state workforce</li><li>Strong expertise in organizational strategy, SOP implementations and dashboard creations</li><li>Data-driven mindset with experience in HR metrics and analytics</li><li>Proven ability to develop and implement HR SOPs and best practices</li><li>Deep knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance across different states</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Proficiency in HR software, HRIS platforms, and remote collaboration tools (e.g., Rippling, Slack, Asana, or similar)<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong>What do you get for being so cool and joining our team?<br><br><ul><li>Salary $155,000 - $165,000 (based on experience)</li><li>Fully remote working position</li><li>Paid time off (PTO)</li><li>Paid annual company holidays</li><li>Your Birthday is a paid vacation day each year.
