Business Staffing of America, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Project Manager (Fully Remote) located in Newark, New Jersey.

Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) cleared is a must. Secret Security Clearance is a plus.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to provide comprehensive project management services to our client. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth execution, progress tracking, and stakeholder engagement throughout the period of performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing project management support including:

    • Meeting facilitation
    • Biweekly and executive-level progress reporting
    • Risk and issue tracking
    • Preparation and delivery of ad hoc briefings and presentations
  • Facilitate a full knowledge transfer from the incumbent contractor within the first 30 days to ensure seamless project continuity
  • Develop and maintain a management plan for all contract deliverables, including:

    • Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
    • Comprehensive project plans
    • Weekly status updates
  • Manage Notices workflow and project requirements tracking using tools such as Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) and Jira
  • Utilize workflow systems and software including:

    • IRWorks, ServiceNow, Splunk
    • Microsoft Project, IBM Rational Tool Suite
  • Submit biweekly status reports summarizing work accomplishments prior to leadership meetings
  • Contribute to the creation of monthly quad charts and fulfill additional reporting requests
  • Support project closeout activities, ensuring complete and accurate documentation is delivered

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project management support within complex technical environments
  • Proficiency in project management and workflow tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, ELM, ServiceNow)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with government contracting or federal project environments is a plus


Preferred Certifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe)
