GCA Logistics LLC is a Delivery Service Partner based in Atlanta, GA. Our family-owned, locally-operated business prides itself on the professionalism and capabilities of our tight-knit team. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, can communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. In order to become successful delivery drivers, candidates must enjoy being out on the road driving, put safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction, among others.

Currently, we are looking to fill both full-time delivery driving positions at DFT4 (1968 Marietta Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318). As a delivery driver, you will be subject to the responsibilities of following company procedures while loading and delivering customer packages. Delivery drivers are eligible to work three to four 10-hour shifts per week, including weekends and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles
  • Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies
  • Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions
  • Keep up with the pace in a physically demanding work environment; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
  • Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and to ensure deliveries are completed
  • Use a smartphone device for GPS navigation, to scan packages, to conduct administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members
  • Load and unload packages to and from the delivery vehicle
  • Support the team in daily work requirements such as through participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
  • Conduct oneself in a highly ethical manner at all times
  • Show excellent attention to detail
  • Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills
  • Work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
  • Must have hiring experience, reliable, and safe drivers
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations may disqualify you from the position)
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Fluent in English (being bilingual/multilingual is a bonus)
  • Able to complete mandatory training
  • Available to work weekends and holidays

  • Compensation starts at $20.25/hour (paid weekly), subject to increase over time with performance
