Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and organization change management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of AVD deployment projects while managing the organizational changes associated with implementing new technologies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to navigate and drive change within an organization.
Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Execution
    • Lead end-to-end project management for AVD deployment initiatives, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Leverage your experience in AVD deployment to provide technical guidance and insights throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Work closely with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of AVD solutions.
  3. Change Management:
    • Develop and implement strategies for managing organizational change related to AVD deployment.
    • Identify and address potential resistance to change, ensuring a smooth transition for end-users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on AVD deployment and organization change management.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and associated technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in change management, with a focus on guiding organizations through technology adoption.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with other Microsoft Azure services.
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles.
  • Previous experience in large-scale organizational change initiatives.
