Full Job Description

Job Summary
As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need within their homes. Your compassion and dedication will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for those under your care. ** Hoyer lift experience REQUIRED**

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while considering dietary restrictions
- Monitor and record vital signs to track the client's health status
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Implement memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records systems
- Specialized care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Support clients in their home community care needs

Skills
- Proficient in caregiving techniques and practices
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle medical records systems effectively
- Competent in taking vital signs accurately
- Experience in memory care and dementia-specific care
