Come join us on our journey!<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>As the Regional Facilities Specialist, you will oversee operations across multiple locations in the assigned region, establishing standardized processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. But wait, there’s more: We provide lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoes for your safety!<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><strong>Key Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To<br><br></strong><ul><li> Apply Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on troubleshooting and dive deeps for facility issues, supporting a region of maintenance teams to investigate the root cause and planning actions to eliminate/mitigate the downtime of critical facility assets</li><li> Provide regional escalation support for onsite maintenance teams, for items related to Fire, Life, Safety (FLS), HVAC systems, power generators, facility electrical and plumbing systems, etc.</li><li> Ensure vendor work for both preventative and reactive maintenance for all facilities are being performed efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience</li><li> Establish communication, escalation procedures, and contingency plans to negate periods of operational impact</li><li> Maintain and install new equipment and facilities, ensuring that warranties are met</li><li> Lead training initiatives to enhance technical capabilities of onsite maintenance teams</li><li> Develop regional facility improvement proposals and execute with approved vendors</li><li> Travel domestically up to 80% to support sites within a region<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience</li><li> Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays</li><li> 5+ years of program management experience</li><li> 5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience</li><li> 5+ years experience in general building repair and maintenance, plumbing, and electrical and familiar with building codes and safety compliance<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)</li><li> 5+ years of budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/ customer relations experience</li><li> 5+ years of eExperience with HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation</li><li> Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written</li><li> Completion of an applicable technical training program<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. The base pay for this position ranges from $82,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,700/year in our highest geographic market.
