We’re seeking a Retirement Plan Services Account Manager to deliver exceptional service to retirement plan sponsors by resolving inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and intermediaries to strengthen relationships and support long-term plan retention.

 

As an Account Manager, you will provide excellent customer service to our retirement plan sponsors by responding to their inquiries and researching and providing resolution to issues that may arise. You will work closely with internal teams and intermediaries to enhance customer relationships and satisfaction to drive and maintain strong plan retention.

The Retirement Plan Services Account Manager can expect to focus in the following areas:

 

  • Develop and foster proactive, positive relationships with clients, advisors, internal teams and intermediaries to ensure client retention.
  • Provide prompt, accurate and consistent information that meets the needs and expectations of our clients.
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of recordkeeping, outsourcing and processing capabilities.
  • Effectively use available resources to resolve a variety of issues with clients which could include inquiries on compliance, tax reporting, audits, fees, system issues, and IRS guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to address client needs, develop, and maintain action plans, and consult on products, services, and capabilities to successfully arrive at solutions for retaining clients and resolving complex client issues.
  • Gather data from multiple systems to interpret, trouble-shoot and resolve problems with limited management assistance.
  • Ability to communicate face-to-face or via conference call with clients, advisors, internal service teams and intermediaries.
  • Capable of generating reports and other client facing materials.

 

A couple things to note about our Retirement Plan Services Account Manager position:

 

 

  • Once training is complete, the opportunity for a flexible work model will be reviewed. With this hybrid work model, candidates will be required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to a Savant office.
  • The schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.

The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $68,600 - $94,400. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
