Serving as the first point of contact at our Maingate Office Complex, the receptionist provides essential support to the Disney Live Entertainment departments. This role is integral to ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for visitors, vendors, and staff, contributing to the overall excellence and efficiency of our team.

This is a casual regular (part-time) hourly role that will report to the Design Resource Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Welcome and assist visitors, vendors, and guests upon arrival
  • Manage incoming calls by directing them to the appropriate department and taking messages when required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception and kitchen areas
  • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and emails as needed
  • Provide administrative support to staff with daily operational tasks

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in operating multi-line phone systems
  • Skilled in receiving, sorting, and routing mail, packages, magazines, periodicals, and related items
  • Experienced in maintaining and ordering office and kitchen supplies; performing additional clerical duties as required
  • Adept at managing package delivery services, including coordination, receipt, and requests for deliveries
  • Competent in scheduling and maintaining conference rooms
  • Capable of assisting Cast Members with Video Teleconference (VTC) issues
  • Able to provide support to Cast Members and departments as needed
  • Adaptability to work in an office environment and a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed

Required Education

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and intense environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Demonstrates dependability, organizational skills, and proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to take initiative and follow tasks through to completion
  • Ability to have and maintain a polished, professional demeanor
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus
