Teach 1:1. Make a Real Impact.
At Pacific Preparatory, we’re more than a school—we’re a 1:1 education partner for K–12 students nationwide. Through our fully accredited virtual school and academic support services, we provide students with tailored instruction, executive function coaching, and test prep—whether they need a full course for credit, weekly tutoring, or a flexible plan during a challenging time.

We work with a diverse student population, including advanced learners, students with learning differences, and those navigating complex medical or mental health needs. Our instructors build strong relationships and deliver individualized support that fosters confidence, curiosity, and self-advocacy.

What We Offer

  • Two ways to teach: Instructors may teach for-credit courses and/or provide academic support (tutoring, EF coaching, test prep)
  • Flexible scheduling: Work 5–25 hours/week based on your availability
  • Reliable pay: We handle all student matching and billing—no chasing payments
  • Growth potential: Instructors receive regular raises for excellent performance; long-time teachers can earn $3K+/month
  • Mission-driven work: Join a collaborative team committed to educational equity through our nonprofit arm, the Engelmann Education Foundation

Who You Are

  • You have at least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • You’re confident teaching over Zoom and using digital tools
  • You have excellent communication skills—both written and verbal

We match instructors with students who are the right fit—no cookie-cutter lessons or rigid curriculum. Our team provides professional development, ongoing support, and a welcoming community of like-minded educators.

Please note: We are looking for instructors who can commit to working with us for at least one year. At this time, we are not hiring for seasonal or summer-only positions.
