Automotive Technician


ABOUT US:

  • Drive Automotive Services operates 40 + full-service auto repair locations in 5 states. Our brands are Service Street, Pride Auto Care, Kerry’s Car Care, Aloha Auto Care, Elite Auto Repair, Pioneer Automotive, Cinco and Fulshear Tire & Auto. Our locations specialize in top-of-the-line automotive repair and maintenance for all makes and models. Our company is looking for qualified Automotive Technician with experience.

 


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
  • Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.
  • Performs routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
  • Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.
  • Performs further tests, which may include test driving the vehicle, to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
  • Provide timely communication with management and team members regarding status and applicable needs and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned are based on the needs of the business.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE:

  • Technician certifications.
  • Three to five years of related experience highly desire.
