About the Role:
We are seeking a creative, campaign-savvy copywriter to support a Houston-based project focused on concept development, tagline creation, messaging, and ad copywriting.

This is a project-based freelance role ideal for someone who thrives in creative ideation and understands the cultural nuances of Houston as this writer will be working on a tourism brand for the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling taglines, headlines, and campaign messaging
- Collaborate on concept development for a Houston-focused campaign
- Write clear, engaging copy that reflects the local Houston culture and voice
- Translate polling insights into effective messaging
- Work closely with internal teams to align creative direction

Qualifications:
- Proven experience writing campaign and brand copy
- Strong portfolio showcasing ad copy work
- Deep familiarity with Houston and South Texas culture (ideally a local resident for 2+ years)
- Bonus: Experience in tourism or destination marketing
- Ability to start within the next week and hit the ground running
