Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tree Sawyer and or Climber who also has proven experience operating heavy equipment, including forestry mulchers, excavators, and skid steers. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who takes pride in their work, can work independently or as part of a team, and has a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical tree cutting, felling, and climbing operations safely and efficiently.

  • Operate heavy machinery such as forestry mulchers, excavators, and skid steers for land clearing projects.

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and basic servicing of equipment.

  • Follow all OSHA and company safety standards.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progress and any issues encountered.

  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions across different terrains.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a tree sawyer and climber.

  • Strong experience operating heavy equipment related to land clearing and forestry mulching.

  • Ability to identify tree hazards and perform technical removals.

  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in physically demanding conditions.

  • Familiarity with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in residential and commercial land clearing projects.
