Media Specialist Trainee ID - 16436

About the position

The Media Specialist Trainee position at San Bernardino County is designed for individuals who will assist in various media-related tasks under direct supervision. This role involves engaging with social media, videography, photography, media relations, and creating written and electronic materials to inform the public about available services. The trainee will also participate in outreach events and support the agency during significant media communications incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Business/Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Relations, or Mass Communications from an accredited college or university (no experience required).
  • OR 30 semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in the relevant fields and one year of experience in writing and editing educational/informational materials, organizing outreach programs, and creating social media content.
