Title: Marketing Assistant
Classification: Non Exempt
Reports to: Director of Sales Marketing
Summary:
Responsible for ongoing operational and financial performance of assigned portfolio of leased and third-party management properties. Provides consultation to the Business Development team in finding and evaluating new opportunities in assigned region. Provides strategic direction in supporting the properties execution of their annual business plan and budgets. They are the primary person for account management and client satisfaction.
Essential job functions:
- Work in concert with the agency marketing team to maximize outbound insights marketing efforts and inbound lead generation
- Assist in online promotion of special events and tournaments respective to which outlet is being utilized (email, social media, google, and on site)..
- Conduct site tours as assigned, or needed
- Stay up-to-date with the PR, sports and events industries and with new products and services
- Produce a weekly news brief summary to distribute to the sales organization on trends and developments in targeted industries
- Respond to voicemails, emails, and other correspondence as received and/or assigned.
- Create Events Packets for events team with event orders, captain reports, menus, place cards, event maps, etc.
Physical Demands:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications or relevant field
- Minimum 0 to 2 years work experience in an agency, sponsorship sales and media sales support role
- Computer proficient with POS, CRM, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
