Backed by industry experts, we’re ready to scale—and we’re looking for an experienced <strong>Senior Full Stack Engineering Lead</strong> to help us do it. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong> </p><p>As our <strong>Senior Full Stack Engineering Lead</strong>, you’ll be a hands-on technical leader, owning key systems across the stack with an emphasis on backend architecture, service scalability, and platform reliability. You’ll lead by example—writing production-grade code, collaborating across functions, and influencing long-term engineering decisions. </p><p>You’ll also play a strategic role in growing the engineering team, with an eye toward stepping into an <strong>Engineering Manager</strong> role as the team expands. This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape the technical foundation and engineering culture of a startup at an inflection point. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Hands-On Development</strong> </li><li>Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and modern frameworks. </li><li>Work across the stack to deliver end-to-end features. </li><li>Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability of critical systems. </li><li><strong>Technical Leadership</strong> </li><li>Make architectural decisions with a long-term product vision in mind. </li><li>Guide system design reviews, code quality practices, and tech roadmap planning. </li><li>Mentor and unblock junior developers and contractors. </li><li><strong>Team Building & Collaboration</strong> </li><li>Partner with product, design, and operations to scope and deliver product features. </li><li>Contribute to hiring processes—interviewing, evaluating candidates, and onboarding. </li><li>Help define engineering workflows and best practices that scale as we grow. </li><li><strong>Path to Engineering Management</strong> </li><li>Step into leadership responsibilities as the team grows. </li><li>Influence the future of our engineering culture and org design. </li><li>Coach new hires and drive a healthy team dynamic. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong> </p><ul><li>6+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong technical skills in: </li><li><strong>Python Expertise:</strong> Deep experience with Python in production SaaS environments. Proficiency with Django, or similar frameworks. </li><li><strong>API Design & Integration</strong>: Strong understanding of REST and asynchronous communication patterns. </li><li><strong>Cloud-Native Infrastructure</strong>: Expertise in deploying and scaling SaaS platforms on AWS.
