The agency will provide Curriculum Developers who will design, develop, implement and quality assure occupational training curriculum for seminars, workshops and training programs. Inclusive of curriculum development, the individuals will design trainee evaluations and learning measurement tools and metrics. The Curriculum Developers will also work with internal resources to develop and document appropriate testing, training and related processes for the Authority.

Scope to include primary focuses:

  • Multilevel professional communication between departments
  • Using MS Word, PowerPoint, Adobe lnDesign and various office applications, the Curriculum Developers will design, develop and implement curriculum for CTA's occupational training programs and initiatives
  • Utilize internal and external resources to develop occupational training curriculum (inclusive of instruction guides, participant guides, presentations, handouts, evaluations and other course materials as necessary) and work closely with subject matter experts

Tasks:

  • Design curriculum for occupational training programs utilizing industry best practices and proven curriculum development and training evaluation processes.
  • Ensure that training content is designed in accordance with CTA's policies, rules and procedures and regulatory agency requirements including, but not limited to, FTA, OSHA and IDOT regulations.
  • Develop and update training materials including instruction guides, participant guides, presentations, handouts, evaluations and other course materials as necessary.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to develop occupational training curriculum and work closely with subject matter experts.
  • Utilize content development tools to develop curriculum for in-person, online and blended learning occupational training initiatives.
  • Work with internal resources to develop and document appropriate testing, training and related processes for the Authority.
  • Develop and execute quality control measures for evaluating CTA occupational training activities and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure training curriculum, learning evaluation and process document integrity and protection by upholding document control best practices, safeguarding confidential content and not disclosing CTA proprietary information.


Experience:

  • They will have experience working in Adobe InDesign, Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The Curriculum Developers will possess experience measuring learning outcomes through design of evaluations and examinations.
  • They will possess in-person, Instructor-led, blended and eLearning content development experience.
  • Able to communicate professionally with all levels within an organization, possess project management skills.
