Experience:

SQL Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SQL and practical experience with multiple database systems, particularly MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL & Proficient in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.

    Programming and Integration: Basic experience with a general-purpose programming language (preferably Python) to interact with database servers by sending/receiving SQL queries and results.

    Query Performance Optimization: Skilled in analyzing and troubleshooting long or complex SQL queries & Ability to generate and interpret execution plans for SQL queries and recommend performance improvements.

      Database Knowledge: Familiarity with Amazon Redshift or similar cloud-based data warehousing solutions.

      Report Development is a PLUS: Understanding of how report generation tools (e.g., JasperReports) function & Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries for use in reporting tools like JasperReports.

        • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment
        • Experience working directly with clients is highly preferred
        • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, including experience with identifying and defining problems/issues and executing analytical approaches to addressing a wide range of strategic questions
        • If you have experience working with a globally distributed, cross functional teams, that is a PLUS
