JOB SUMMARY: 
Oversees effective creation and execution of training plans that are aligned with the goals of the Clerk’s office. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Information Officer, this position focuses on testing software, training end users, and creating and modifying business process documentation within the Clerk’s Office. This position is classified as exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act; however, if the salary paid is below the Federal threshold, the employee will be considered non-exempt and will be paid applicable overtime wages. 

Examples of Duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Leads the Training and Development Team
  • Project Management and business analysis
  • Collect business requirements as needed
  • Coordinate with Clerk III’s to update the knowledge base and documentation updates
    • Communicate Clerk III progress to Team Leader / Management
    • Coordinate Clerk III time and resources with the Team Leader / Management
  • Communicate training and testing progress on a per-user basis to Team Leader / Management
  • Manages the Clerk’s Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Tests Clerk applications to ensure stability and functionality
  • Trains Clerk employees on the proper use of Clerk software
    • Establishes continuing education programs
  • Produces and maintains training material for Clerk processes
  • Analyzes and documents Clerk processes and procedures
  • Recommends areas of potential improvement to software
  • Recommends areas of potential improvement to the business processes
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development or Technical Writing
  • Two or more years of training or training management.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
